Website redesign or more advertising?

Find out whether your website or your traffic needs attention first.

Investigate the visitor-to-inquiry journey first. More relevant traffic may help when too few suitable people reach the business. Website work may help when those visitors cannot understand the offer or make contact. Delivery and follow-up problems need their own fixes.

Map the journey you actually have

Start with the source of a visit, the page a person reaches, the service they investigate, the contact route and the team’s response. Available analytics can help, but missing data is a reason to establish a baseline rather than invent a diagnosis.

Check the existing website on a phone, submit a labelled test inquiry and confirm where it arrives. Ask the team what details they repeatedly chase before a useful conversation. These checks turn a vague “the website is not working” into specific questions.

When traffic deserves attention

If very few relevant people reach the site, changing the page design alone may leave that problem unresolved. Review the audience, service area, search visibility, referrals and existing campaigns. Separate relevant visits from traffic that could never become suitable work.

Advertising should connect a clear promise with a relevant page and a working inquiry route. A larger budget should not be the default response to missing information about what happens after a click.

When website work deserves attention

Visitors may arrive but struggle to understand the services, assess project evidence or find the next step. Examine the actual pages they use. A targeted service-page revision or repaired contact route may be enough; other situations justify a broader redesign.

Our three working concepts demonstrate different ways to present room services and choices. They help discuss a direction. They do not establish which design would outperform another for your business.

When the bottleneck comes after the website

A saved inquiry is only the beginning. Check who receives it, whether the details are usable, how a reply is handled and what happens if the company cannot take on the work. A website redesign does not automatically repair a disconnected inbox or an unclear follow-up responsibility.

The agency’s guided brief shows the distinction: the interaction collects context, while an external workflow saves it and sends an internal notification. The confirmation should depend on a received submission, not just a button click.

A practical decision sequence
  1. Verify the inquiry route works.
  2. Check whether the visits and inquiries fit your services and area.
  3. Identify the point where suitable prospects stop progressing.
  4. Choose the smallest useful scope to investigate that point.
  5. Agree the measure and a review period.

Include capacity in the decision

A fully booked team and a team opening a new service have different objectives. Discuss what work can be accepted, when capacity changes and what kinds of projects the company wants. A recommendation should follow that context.

Website costs, advertising spend and ongoing work should be considered against an agreed business objective. Avoid treating every future sale as value created by the website; several parts of the journey contribute.

What to bring to a first conversation

Bring your current website, traffic information if available, recent inquiry patterns, the services you want to prioritize and your capacity. If you have no reliable tracking, say so. We can establish what needs to be measured before recommending a build.

Your answers stay in this tab until you click “Send my brief.” Sending shares your contact details and answers with Dolphin Operations. They are saved in a private n8n inquiry table and sent to Iusein Sezer through Gmail so he can review and respond. This does not subscribe you to marketing emails or book an appointment. Use the conversation brief to ask about your submitted details or request deletion. Unsaved answers are cleared when you close the brief or reload the page.
